About Us

Federal State Institution Russian Ilizarov Scientific Center “Restorative Traumatology and Orthopaedics” was established in 1971 in Kurgan. Nowadays it is one of the largest scientific research institutions in Russia. The Center is headed by the honored scientist of the Russian Federation, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences Professor Vladimir Ivanovich Shevtsov.
